Due to resident's concerns Maumelle Water Management (MWM) has implemented a Hydrogen Sulfide gas monitoring program at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. We are currently monitoring the headworks site twice a day, five days a week. We have added two other monitoring sites, one at the clarifier and another at the sludge drying facility.
Established limits in parts per million (ppm) for Hydrogen Sulfide gas as per OSHA and EPA.
